2018 was a tough year for me. I may even say it sucked. But one of the highlights of my year for sure was my trip to Montréal, Canada. This may seem silly to say for such a short trip, but I believe it really was a turning point for me and my life. But that’s a post for another day. The post for today is centered on an experience I had on my trip.
If you are curious about what it’s like to do a photoshoot, particularly with Airbnb, then this post is for you! I will go over my experience and review it overall. Keep reading if you’d like to find out more about it!
Airbnb is a great option if you don’t want to stay directly in tourist locations, want to feel more like a local or save a few dollars rather than going to a hotel. When I dream about and fantasize plan my future trips I love going over to the Airbnb app or website to see where I could stay in cities around the world and in the United States.
While most Airbnb’s are beautiful apartments or spare bedrooms, Airbnb also offers an array of unique homes from tiny homes to RVs to boats. I decided to compile a list of some of the most interesting looking Airbnb’s around the United States. Just to note, because these unique homes are well, unique, they tend to be a bit more expensive than the average Airbnb’s you can find. People understand they are paying for the experience. I tried to filter to properties that are $100 or less per night at the time of writing this post.
But remember that there are some surcharges and fees you have to pay, so the final prices can vary. Buzzfeed wrote an amazing article discussing the problems people have with Airbnb because the advertised price is practically never the final price. However, keeping that all in mind, I still believe these properties are worth the money if you want to have a fun, unique experience. So, if you’re ready to discover some amazing places, keep reading.
