In the latter half of 2019 I reignited my love for reading. Especially during the summer, I read a lot more books than I had in the past couple of years. However, I didn’t end the year as strong. 2020 Writing and Reading Goals

I don’t do New Year’s Resolutions. I’m starting to sound like a broken record. Truth be told, I find the whole “new year, new me” or “I have to wait until January 1st to start making changes in my life” uninspiring and cheesy. However, I do like to plan for the future and it’s easy to frame your goals as to where you’d like to be in the next 12 months. I have plenty of reading and writing goals I hope to achieve.

My Month in Books: What I Read July 2019

What books did you read in July?

June was an awesome reading month for me. I listened to some audiobooks and read awesome books physically. July started off a touch slower and at one point I didn’t know if I’d even read two books for the month. Glad to say I did pass that point and while I didn’t check out an amazing number off books for the month of July, I still consider it a success. My Month in Books: What I Read in June 2019

I am so glad that lately I got back into a couple things that used to bring me so much joy: reading books and writing. For a while I didn’t do either of those things. Which was weird because they were part of me for so long. But now books – reading others and writing my own – have found its rightful place back into my life and it feels so RIGHT. Thus, I’d like to share what books I read in June of 2019. I will only include books I finished this month. The books are in the order that I read them.
